Dave has been with New England Organics since 2002. His duties as Office Manager in Portland include providing administrative support for all NEO staff. His educational background includes a B.S. in Environmental and Forest Biology from the State University of New York-College of Forestry and Environmental Science in Syracuse, NY. After completing his B.S. degree, Dave moved to the Sierra Nevada mountains of Southern California where he became an Instructor at an Outdoor and Environmental Education center. He worked on ropes courses, lead nature hikes, and taught environmental science classes to middle and high school children. His professional career also includes Nursery & Garden store Manager, Landscape Foreman, Middle School Teaching Asst., and Hotel & Restaurant Manager. He currently resides in New Gloucester, ME with his wife and two sons. He is an avid downhill skier, has experience as a whitewater rafting guide, and enjoys being outdoors backpacking, hiking, and camping.
