New England Organics fully supports the responsible management and disposal of unwanted or obsolete prescription drugs.  As avid recyclers of residuals from the waste water treatment process, the quality of our products suffers when contaminated with these materials.  That’s why we’re spreading the word about the next nationwide day organized for their safe collection and disposal.

According to the DEA: “The October 29, 2011 event turned in more than 377,086 pounds (188.5 tons) of unwanted or expired medications for safe and proper disposal in all 50 states and U.S. territories.”
